Master & Registrar

The Master & Registrar is the principal administrative and registry officer of the Superior Court of Judicature.

The Office of the Master & Registrar is responsible for the custody and management of the records of the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal and the High Court of Justice. Its functions include the receipt and filing of court documents, the sealing and issuing of court process, the keeping of the cause book and court registers, the taxation of costs, the administration of oaths, and the general supervision of the registries and their staff.

The Office is a central point of contact between litigants, legal practitioners and the courts, and plays a key role in ensuring that matters progress efficiently from filing to final determination.
